Tera Software Ltd has informed BSE that the Company signed an agreement with Secretary (Information Technology), Governor of State of Himachal Pradesh to establish 2070 Common Service Centers (CSC) in Shimla and Mandi divisions in consortium with GNG Trading Pvt. Ltd. These centers would provide various online services under one roof in rural areas and citizens would be able to access the services from their area of residence without having to visit the district and sub-division headquarters. These centers would offer services under a single roof in rural areas for which they will be able to charge a nominal facilitation fee. In this the service mix would include government services such as voter registration, voter identity cards, police complaint registration, vacancy listings, passport enquiry status, school board results, REFNIC, High Court cases list, Government information and forms through websites. Additional services to be offered in the centers are computer education, examination results, vocational education, micro finance, agriculture related services, utility bill payments, railway and bus ticket bookings. All the districts in both the divisions would be covered under the scheme and the centers would be set up in all the panchayats of the divisions within one year. The Company will render all the above services through the centers for next four years. The Total expected revenue is Rs 60 Crores approximately.
